About The Organisation
SWAVLAMBAN FOUNDATION, working for a better and improved future of PwDs and Patients with Rare Diseases. It is a non-governmental organization that has been working for Persons With Disabilities and Patients with Rare Diseases. Keeping the goal of doing selfless deed and providing a better living to others, the foundation has made its name on its own. The Foundation operates nationwide, dedicated to improving the lives of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). It ensures nationwide support, fostering inclusive environments for their well-being.
In a short span, the Foundation has advocated for patients with progressive diseases and rare conditions in over 20 states, addressing gaps in policies and awareness. It plays a key role in raising public and government attention, driving efforts to bridge the gap between awareness and actionable policy for these critical health challenges.

The UMANG children fair for children with disability 2022 has been recorded in the Asia Book Of Records as the largest children's fair for its audience.

India book of records

The organisation has been awarded as the best organisation working for Person with Disabilities by the Rajasthan government.

SWAVLAMBAN FOUNDATION
was founded by Dr. Vaibhav Bhandari, a lawyer, psychologist, and philanthropist with a passion for spreading awareness about disabilities and voicing out the need for inclusivity in all domains. He has written over ten research topics in the field of disability activism and has attended numerous summits. He has received numerous national, state, and district-level awards. Mr. Bhandari was recently recognized as the "Best Disabled Person" by our honorable President Draupadi Murmu. The foundation's children's fair has also been recorded in the Asia Book of Records for the attendance received during the fete. The annual Children’s fair is quite popular with children with disabilities and their families who are able to enjoy festivities organized by the organization. The organization is well known for its noble work and frequently organized welfare camps for the disabled community. Swalamban has used all possible platforms to shed the spotlight on the ignorant condition of people with disabilities in our society. The organization has helped multiple individuals and families to live better dignified life.
Legal status

Registered for undertaking CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities with Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.

Swavlamban Foundation has been granted tax exemption under section 80G of the Income Tax Act.

Registered under the National Trust Act, For the welfare of persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities, Government Of India.

Swavlamban Foundation is a registered organization with Rajasthan Societies Registration Act.

Registered with Niti Ayog (Registration Number: RJ/2020/0263649).

Swavlamban Foundation has also been registered under the Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

Swavlamban Foundation also has 12A registration certificate.

We strive to achieve this through a variety of programs and initiatives, including advocacy, education, and direct support services. We try to create a society where all individuals are valued and have the opportunity to thrive, free from limitations and discrimination. Our goal is a world where everyone is empowered to live their best life with dignity.
